Service Providers
Early Intervention (EI) provides free, family-centered services for children from birth to age 3 who may be experiencing delays in development or have specific concerns related to growth, communication, or behavior.
EI service providers include speech-language pathologists, developmental specialists, occupational and physical therapists, and social workers who work together to support families in their homes or community settings.
They can help with:
- Language and communication delays (late talking, limited vocabulary, or difficulty understanding instructions)
- Developmental milestones such as walking, grasping, feeding, or playing
- Social and emotional development, including connecting with others and managing feelings
If you’re concerned about your child’s development—especially with language, communication, or other milestones—Early Intervention can provide screening, support, and strategies to help your child thrive.
If your child is 2.9 years old and you are concerned about your child’s development please contact Sarah Moynihan, our BEEP Special Education Intake Coordinator, to schedule a free developmental screening.
